Privacy Policy

Information Collection 

The Bonoi Academy of Science & Education collects a variety of demographic and descriptive data about its members. The data are collected within the members-only section of the BASE web site as well as on the BASE membership application. Other than the required basic contact information, members have control over what information they choose to provide. 

Information Uses 

The BASE uses these data to communicate directly with members as well as for staff to better provide benefits and services to the membership. Contact information is also made available to other BASE members. Members have control over what information is made available. The BASE also makes the name and mailing address information available to third parties who are identified as providing information deemed likely to be of interest to the BASE membership.  

Member's Control 

Each member may elect not to have their name and address information made available to third parties.  

Credit Card Information 

The BASE only uses credit card information to process payments authorized by the individual. The BASE website uses encryption technology, such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), to protect your personal information during data transport. SSL encrypts ordering information such as your name, address, and credit card number.
